There’s another type of [excess] pride I’ve come to find in myself — not the common cockiness and egotism that we’re familiar with, but the more obscure kind. The dignity that you hold onto just to prove a point to a certain individual. But the longer you drag it out, you realize.. why the hell am I still doing this.
Maybe it’s time to let go of that pride.
It’s funny; this post applies to more than one situation in my life right now.
